Most people are forgotten after three generations, because we wait until it's too late to ask our grandparents and even parents to tell us their stories. "Mom I Want to Hear Your Story" is a perfect way to get those stories, as one's mother can answer the prompts at her own convenience. The book could use some basic editing; there are some shocking typos (sometimes in the chapter heading!) and at least one yes/no question that gives a whole lined page to answer. Who knows, maybe your mom will get a kick out of the mistakes (mine did). In any case, the book is still an invaluable treasure for any family.

Book is nice, print is good quality and paper feels nice. A little thinner than it looked online, but that's not really a bad thing. I do wish the cover was a thicker material so the book would hold up for years... As this is the kind of thing I'd want to pass on to my children, etc.

I truly love the book. Just a few critiques, some of the pages and or questions repeat themselves. It's ok if you need to continue writing. However, if you have answered the question thoroughly it just leaves blank spaces in the book. Otherwise, I love the concept and would recommend it to anyone who wants to leave their story behind to their child or children.

The idea of the book is great but there are some misspellings on the cover that could be a turn off for some. My mother was an English teacher so that may make her feel some type of way. I only noticed the word “creating” was misspelled. I did not go into the book as I gave it to them still wrapped up in the plastic wrap. I pray there are no other words spelled incorrectly. Hopefully it goes well, my parents are not the types to engage in such an intentional activity which asks of their personal experience. They are more storytellers than writers, I think. But that isn’t a Flownwing issue. Wish us luck!
